Due to high demand, Finland’s number one progressive rock band Von Hertzen Brothers will perform a special two-part gig also at Tavastia-klubi in March. The band, formed by the brothers Mikko, Jonne and Kie von Hertzen plus drummer Mikko Kaakkuriniemi and keyboardist Juha Kuoppala will be creating an intimate vibe by playing acoustically during the first part of the show. After a small break the show will continue with a more traditional electric gig. The band played a similar two-part concert last Wednesday at Sellosali, which sold out in advance.
Von Hertzen Brothers’ newest album ‘Nine Lives’ was released in the spring of 2013 and since then the band has been touring a lot, both in Finland and England. The album’s first single ‘Flowers And Rust’ won the prestigious ’Anthem Of The Year’ award in the Classic Rock Progressive Music Awards in London in the fall of 2013.
Doors open at 8 pm. Showtime at 9 pm. Duration approximately 2 hours (including the intermission).
